Nova Plan Atelier is a small, dedicated team designing weddings, milestone gatherings and private events across the Pacific Northwest — built one thoughtful detail at a time.
A Studio, Not a Factory
Founded by Johnie Myers above a flower shop on Pratt Avenue, our atelier was built on the belief that the best events feel personal, slow and lived-in. No assembly lines. No copy-and-paste mood boards. Just careful planning and design that suits the people at the center of the room.
Each event begins with a long conversation about taste, family, food and feeling. The aesthetic follows from there — never the other way around.
Behind every quiet, beautiful evening is a stack of timelines, vendor briefs and contingency plans. We carry that weight so you do not have to.
Twelve years in Seattle means we know which florists rise to spring peonies, which caterers handle 180 guests, and which venues breathe in winter light.
The Atelier Approach
From the first coffee to the final toast, you work with the same two planners — never a hand-off, never a junior assistant you have not met. We keep the studio small on purpose.
Whether you are imagining a thirty-guest dinner at a Madrona home or a four-hundred-guest celebration at the Olympic Sculpture Park, our preparation is identical: patient, organized, a little obsessive.
Read Our ProcessIn Their Words
“Johnie and her team understood our family in a way that felt almost uncanny. The wedding was unmistakably ours.”
“We hired Nova Plan for my mother’s 70th. They treated a fifty-person dinner with the same care a Pinterest wedding would get.”
“The most organized vendor partners I have worked with in fifteen years of catering. Briefs were thorough, kind, on time.”
We take on a small number of events each season. Inquiries are read personally by Johnie and answered within two business days.
